Depending on the agreed mandate, ASI acts as local coordinator or implementation-support partner: defining responsibilities, coordinating institutions, permits, partners, suppliers and logistics, tracking milestones and risks, and issuing progress reports. Licensed technical contractors and professional advisers remain responsible for their own work and opinions.

Can you help establish a company?+
Yes. We coordinate legal form, shareholder and director documents, registered address, RCCM and fiscal registration, bank-account preparation and sector permits with qualified legal, tax, accounting and administrative specialists. Ownership and local-participation rules depend on the activity: private-sector subcontracting eligibility generally requires majority Congolese capital, while mining companies are subject to separate Mining Code requirements. Can an individual register a personal company, not just a corporate entity?+
Yes. The same coordination service applies whether you are registering on behalf of a company or as an individual founder. The scope is typically smaller and faster than a corporate multi-entity setup.
How long does company registration take?+
Timelines vary by legal form, sector and completeness of documentation, typically a few weeks once all required documents and decisions are confirmed.
What ongoing support is available after registration?+
We can coordinate ongoing compliance needs—including annual filings, tax registrations and permit renewals—as a separate, scoped engagement once the company is established.
Do I need to be physically present in the DRC to register a company?+
Not always. Many steps can be coordinated remotely with powers of attorney and notarised documents, though some steps may require local presence or a private business mission.

Can you help me buy land in the DRC?+
Yes. We coordinate the purchase process—title verification, notary coordination, registration and local formalities—while the legal review of title and land rights should be handled by qualified local counsel. Official fees, notary costs and land taxes are billed separately from ASI’s coordination fee.
How do you verify land title before a purchase?+
We coordinate checks on the registered title, the seller’s ownership and authority to sell, competing claims or encumbrances, and consistency across the title deed, survey and sale documents, working with qualified local counsel for the formal legal opinion.
What are the risks of buying land in the DRC?+
Common risks include unclear or contested title, informal or unregistered transfers, and inconsistent boundaries. We recommend independent legal review and a formal survey before any payment is made.
Can you coordinate a site visit before I commit to a purchase?+
Yes, as part of a private business mission or a standalone coordination task, depending on your timeline and location.
Who handles the notary and registration process?+
ASI coordinates the process and required documentation; the notarial act itself is executed by a licensed notary, and registration is completed through the relevant land registry.

Yes. ASI can coordinate opportunity identification, document collection, initial verification, discussions with the titleholder and competent authorities, and the pathway for a transfer, partnership or operating arrangement. Qualified local mining counsel must confirm title validity, rights, obligations, royalties, disputes and required approvals before any commitment or payment.

Yes. We coordinate commercial discussions, bilingual working versions, responsibilities, milestones, open issues and signature preparation. Final legal drafting and approval remain with qualified counsel appointed by the parties.
